Come and meet all three Democratic Candidates running for California’s 1st Congressional District. This event is free to the public with first come first served admission. Snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments will be served, no charge. The candidate’s will be presenting their political platforms and answering your questions. There will be time before and after the form to discuss your concerns with the candidates.

 

Jessica Holcombe is a business attorney from Auburn and an advocate for civil rights, improving the lives of working families, and the rights of all immigrants.  Jessica is the oldest of 7 kids from humble beginnings, but she received financial aid to attend Georgetown University.  After graduating from college, she joined the Peace Corp in Russia and received her law degree and MBA from UC Davis.  Jessica is ready to go to battle for our rights in Congress.

 

Dennis Duncan graduated from Paradise High School, received his BA from UC, Berkeley and MA from CSU, Chico in Public Administration. He is a husband, father, grandfather and a social worker! Honesty and ethics are the hallmark of Mr. Duncan’s profession and he will bring those same qualities to Washington DC.

 

Marty Walters is running on a platform of building new rural economies, a roadmap toward single payer healthcare, managing our forests and watersheds for fire resilience and sustainable water, timber, and recreational use. Marty was born in Hawai’i, and she’s lived in Plumas County since 2004 where she raised three children and has worked remotely for General Electric Company and CIT Bank as an environmental scientist and financial analyst.
