Dec 13 Deadline for AD1 Party Delegates – Election is Jan 13th!

ADEM Delegate applications now open.

We had a great election this Fall and now we need to elect new Delegates and E Board representatives to the California Democratic Party. In addition to the Delegates voted from each County Central Committee, and Delegates appointed by our candidates (one male and one female each appointed by Audrey Denney, Phillip Kim, Caleen Sisk and Sonia Aery), there will be 14 delegates elected in each assembly District. 7 men and 7 women will be elected from Assembly District 1, and the same number from Assembly District 3.  In addition, one Democratic party E Board Representative is elected from each Assembly District at these meetings.

Please share this with all the rosters and lists of Democrats to which you have access.
A cute video on the Delegate process: click here.

(Please note it is on YouTube, and the next video that plays refers to the 2017 election, then 2015…etc)

Note that when folks apply to run for Delegate, the campaign statement is listed as optional. Especially in AD1, this is actually very important as we will have simultaneous meetings and the campaign statements are our backup in case the electronic connection between the two sites should  fail. You will need to have your statement (no greater than about 500 words) ready before you apply, as it, and the $30 application fee are necessary at the time of application, and can not be added later.
