The DCCSC is co-sponsoring a benefit for local farmworkers in honor of Cesar Chavez Day. Other sponsors include SEIU 2015, the Shasta Beloved Community, the Democratic Women’s Club, and KIXE-TV.
Donate Funds for Goods and Gift Cards
Checks may be made out to SCCAR, Shasta County Citizens Advocating Respect, on behalf of The Shasta Beloved Community. Checks must include Cesar Chavez in the memo, may be mailed to SCCAR, PO Box 990586, Redding, CA 96099, and are tax-deductible (Tax ID# 68-03400).
Collecting Items at Drop-off
Gloves, beanies, ball caps, new socks, masks, bandanas, neck coolers
Hoodies, reflective safety jackets, work boots
Water containers, lunch bags, energy bars, jerky
Masks, hand sanitizer, hygiene products
Donor Prize Drawing
Drive-thru donors will be automatically entered into a drawing
