A majority of DCCSC members approved a resolution on Monday, August 10, 2020, asking the Shasta County Board of Supervisors and other county municipalities to enforce federal and state laws and mandates promoting the use of masks and social distancing in public during the Covid-19 pandemic. Public health is put at risk by people who flaunt safety guidelines and mandates. This resolution asks local law enforcement to enforce mask mandates, and defend businesses that abide by safety standards intended to stop community spread of the deadly virus.
